Why Somatic Work?

We live in a culture that rewards output and resilience, often at the expense of the body.

Over time, even capable individuals begin to feel the cost: tension, overwhelm, emotional shutdown, or a sense of disconnection from self.

Our work helps you return home to your own system through guided, embodied practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of work is this?
Munay Live offers embodied, experiential practices rooted in ancient traditions and adapted for modern nervous systems. Sessions are designed to support awareness and regulation through direct, embodied experience.
Is this therapy or medical treatment?
No. Our offerings are non-medical and non-therapeutic. They do not diagnose, treat, or cure conditions. Individuals needing medical or mental health care should consult licensed professionals.
How is this different from talk-based approaches?
This work prioritizes embodied experience over analysis. While insight may arise, sessions focus on what is sensed, felt, and experienced rather than discussed.
Do I need prior experience with this kind of work?
No. Sessions are guided and paced to meet you where you are.
Is this appropriate if I've experienced trauma?
Our practitioners work with care and nervous system awareness. Sessions are paced and responsive. We encourage individuals with significant trauma histories to also seek appropriate professional support.
How do I choose a practitioner?
Start wherever you feel drawn. Our practitioners work as a constellation. When you outgrow one approach or need a different modality, your practitioner will recommend others in the network. You're not choosing one guide. You're entering a system designed to meet you wherever you are. While you'll work one-on-one, practitioners collaborate and refer within the collective when another approach is more supportive.

This work is not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care.
