Gretchen McKay is an initiated Sangoma and shamanic practitioner who bridges ancient African ancestral medicine with contemporary spiritual practice. Apprenticed under Traditional Doctor P.H. Mtshali in Swaziland (2000–2001), she underwent traditional Sangoma initiation that deepened her commitment to healing and sacred service.
Her shamanic path spans core shamanism (1997), Celtic traditions (1999–2001), extraction work with Michael Harner (2002), and soul retrieval and two-year teacher training with Sandra Ingerman (2004–2006). She also studied Hawaiian shamanism with Larry Kessler and holds advanced expertise in herbalism and aromatherapy.
With over two decades of experience, Gogo Gretchen guides healing through bone divination, soul retrieval, and energetic extraction, weaving ceremony, medicinal herbs, and spiritual light to restore balance on both personal and collective levels. What This Work Involves
This three session advanced course focuses on the upper chakras (4–7) — the heart, throat, third eye, and crown — gateways to love, communication, intuition, and divine connection. Completion of Part 1 (chakras 1–3) is required to ensure grounding before engaging these elevated frequencies.
Through shamanic ceremony, music, art, and movement, participants release ancestral imprints and limiting beliefs while awakening higher awareness and deeper embodiment of Spirit. Each month explores one chakra in depth, creating space for profound transformation and expanded perception.
